Some photos, like some movies, capture “moods” better than color does. I like all of the above, but especially the last one.

Thank you so much, Mr. M

I’m one of the first here, whee!
Love Canopy and the sepia tones of Father and sons.
My favourite is Sentinel. It’s both eerie and comforting at the same time.

      Hi Eden,
Sentinel is probably my favorite, too. That and the burned slope.
Thank you for reading and commenting.

  3. All of these are beautiful! The top and bottom ones are my favorites!

      Thank you, Lisa!

Lovely photos. They all tell quite different stories and evoke many different emotions. Beautiful!

    1. Paul says:

      Hello Deb,
Thank you so much for the kind words. Trees are a favorite subject of mine and I particularly like the old, tortured, gnarled trees. They have a character that lends itself to monochrome.
Thanks so much for visiting and commenting.

A great album, showcasing monochrome at its best! I especially like Sentinel, Tortured and Sun-kissed 🙂

    1. Paul says:

      Hello Sarah,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Sentinel: I’m thinking about framing that one. Sun-kissed: A color photo that was improved through black and white.
      Thank you again for visiting.
      Paul
