The Life in My Years

An anthology of life

This week’s Len-Artists Photo Challenge is hosted by Leya who challenges us to pick one or more words from the list below and illustrate that word (or words) with a photo.

Comfortable

Tangled
Crowded
Exuberant

Exuberant
“To be full of being is to live as a body-soul. One name for the experience of full being is joy.”
― J.M. Coetzee, The Lives of Animals

“I call for a collective adventure in generalized joy and freely interdependent exuberance.” ~ Bob Black

Exuberant in victory

Crowded

Growing
“I like weeds and hardy plants.” ~ Hope Jahren, Scientist

Life grows between the cracks of a stone wall.

Tangled
“Oh what a tangled web we weave….

Caught in the spider’s web

Comfortable
When it comes to getting comfortable, dogs are pure artists.

These are terrific matches for this weeks words Paulie but your puppy photos are truly fabulous!

    1. Paulie says:

Thank you Tina. Dog photos are usually the favorites (much more so than dead flies in spider webs).

  2. Prior... says:

oh so nice – and I really like the “interdependent exuberance”

    1. Paulie says:

Thank you so much for visiting and for commenting.

      1. Prior... says:

        🙂

  3. Sheree says:

Great photos! I particularly like the ones of Lexi

    1. Paulie says:

Thanks Sheree. Lexi is the definite crowd pleaser.

  4. pattimoed says:

Perfect choices, Paulie. I especially love the ones of your dogs. Sleeping. on a sneaker! How wonderful is that!

    1. Paulie says:

Thank you Patti. Lexi is actually the second of my Gordons to use my shoe as a pillow. Doesn’t look comfortable to me but dogs seem to be able to find comfort almost everywhere. The Irish Setters aren’t mine. I don’t have enough energy to harness that much doggy energy.

      1. pattimoed says:

I guess they’re comforted by the smell of their owner??? Or they’re dreaming of chewing it??

  5. Leya says:

Well done finding photos for every word! And I think exuberant is the beautiful word for your beautiful Lexi. Are the other setters also yours? All beautiful anyway! So happy you joined in this week.

    1. Paulie says:

Thank you so much. Exuberant is indeed the word to describe Lexi. The Irish Setters are not mine. That would be more exuberance than I could handle.

      1. Leya says:

Ha, I guess it would. The setters I know are very lively – that is the least I can say…

  6. Awwww, well I gotta love the dog photos! 😊💗

    1. Paulie says:

Yeah, I guess the dogs are more lovable than a dead fly in a spider web

  7. JohnRH says:

Excellent selections. Great, great dog shots. Well done.

    1. Paulie says:

Thank you for the mention. Dogs take comfort to a new level of artistry.

Would love to hear from you
