Grand Teton National Park draws photographers from around the world to photograph images of her majestic beauty.
One of the most famous is Oxbow Bend where Mount Moran gazes down on the Snake River, coiled in the foreground. Sunrise brings scores of photographers along the banks of the Snake. On this particular morning I got my wife out of a warm bed in 26 degree F weather to arrive at Oxbow Bend by sunrise.
Just before the sunrise, a blue sky, the clouds and trees reflect on the Snake. Near the opposite bank a finger of morning fog hovers over the river.

Another popular gem for photographers looking to reflect at Grand Teton is Schwabacher Landing also along the bank of the Snake River.

Emeryville California is the first town you hit when you cross the Bay Bridge from San Francisco. One early morning I took my camera to explore Emeryville’s marina. Being a distance runner one particular boat caught my eye.
Endurance and the pink morning sky reflected in the waters of the Emeryville Marina.
On a recent trip to Canada we visited the Montreal Botanical Garden. A pond in the Asian Garden offered some opportunities to reflect on water plants.

After days of rain during the San Francisco Bay Area’s deluge of 2019 I found reflections in the most unexpected of places.

Oh boy these are wonderful pictures. I especially like the water plants in the pond. It looks like an oriental graphic, which is appropriate given where you saw it.

Ah, these are all fresh and crisp – the Grand Tetons are marvelous. Oh the light! But still, I must chime in with all the praise for the pond leaves – amazing. Glad you are going to print and frame.
